through the City of Victoria. Freliminary

was found impossible to fix points within

a reasonable distance of each other. In

the case of any new surveys the work would

be started and closed either on fixed tri-

-angulation or traverse points. These

minor traverses would eventually form a

network over the whole of Hongkong.
